In Acts 9:1-19 Jesus speaks to Saul (Paul) while is travelling to Damascus in order to perpetuate the followers of Jesus. The church’s greatest enemy becomes the father of the word to the gentiles. In this letter to the Galatians Paul is defending the gospel of salvation through faith and not through the mosaic law and Jewish tradition. The gospel is the source of new life, a life transforming message.
